Incorporating a “dry break” fuelling nozzle, the Wiggins diesel fast fuel system allows service personnel to fuel vehicles with both feet on the ground. Delivering fuel at rates up to 570 litres per minute, the Wiggins advanced vehicle fuel system provides cost savings by fuelling at a rate six times faster than with the traditional “splash fuelling” method, while greatly reducing the risk of injury due to slips and falls by service personnel. The bottom fill concept also reduces foaming, which previously resulted in partial fuel loads requiring vehicles to return to the fuelling point multiple times during each work shift.
Wiggins fluid coupling systems for crankcase oil change, transmission fluid service, hydraulic oil maintenance and cooling fluid fill produce similar productivity increases through better fluid control. The Wiggins JNX non-pressurizing system allows for automatic diesel refuelling at up to 800 lpm with existing Wiggins nozzles and does not pressurize the fuel tank.
